Short description
It’s the 26th century, and humans and the alien Morgons are at war over one thing: Thalorite, the mineral that powers what the vanished Thalorans left behind. Fly a lone ship into the asteroid fields, break rocks for Thalorite, deliver it to the human stations, and destroy the Morgon bases that send fighters after you. Every run is a new star system, and if your ship is destroyed, the run is over.
Features
- A cockpit view. Everything is seen in first person, through the ship’s windshield. Steer by tilting the device or with a thumb stick, and look behind you with the aft view.
- Asteroid fields with real physics. Shot rocks break into tumbling pieces with real mass and momentum, which can set off chain reactions. Some leave glowing Thalorite to collect, and every broken rock makes the field more dangerous, for you and for everyone chasing you.
- Morgons that fight and plan. Their fighters are faster than you. They close in firing, drop bombs in your path and circle back. Their bases send scouts, raiders and miners across the system, and the war grows the longer it goes on.
- Stations to defend. Dock to deliver Thalorite, repair and refit at the stations’ shipyards. A station the Morgons take is lost for good, and its sector becomes theirs.
- Trench runs. Each Morgon base is a dark city of towers with a trench down its deck. Fly it past catwalks, barriers and turrets, and put one shot into the reactor port.
- One ship, one life. All eight of the ship’s components can be damaged, and each loses what it does as it wears down. Energy runs everything.
- A new system every run, 225 sectors to explore with the long range map and hyperdrive, plus a System of the Week that’s the same for everyone, with its own leaderboard.
- Sound written in code. The music, the engines, the explosions and the cockpit’s warnings are all synthesized as the game plays.
