TLDR

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Thalorite has no accounts of its own, no servers, no analytics, and no ads. Your game stays on your device. If you sign in to Apple’s Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center profile, scores and achievements under Apple’s own privacy policy.

This privacy policy is applicable to the Thalorite app (hereinafter referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices, which was developed by BitArts, Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service. This service is provided “AS IS”.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

What information do users provide to the Application?

None. The Application does not require or accept any user registration, account creation, or personal information of any kind. There are no forms, no sign-ups, and no login screens of its own.

What information does the Application collect automatically?

None. The Application does not collect any information automatically. It does not use analytics, tracking, telemetry, crash reporting, or any other form of automatic data collection.

Does the Application use Game Center?

Yes, optionally. The Application uses Apple’s Game Center, which you sign in to with your Apple Account through Apple, not through the Application. When you are signed in, the Application reports your game scores and achievements to Game Center so they can appear on leaderboards and in your Game Center profile. This information is sent to Apple, not to the Service Provider, and is handled under Apple’s Privacy Policy. The Service Provider does not receive or store your Game Center information. You can play without signing in to Game Center, and you can manage or turn off Game Center in your device’s Settings.

Does the Application use the device’s motion sensors?

Yes. The Application reads the device’s motion sensors so you can steer by tilting it. This data is processed entirely on-device as you play and is never stored, transmitted, or shared with any party, including BitArts, Ltd.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

No. This Application does not gather information about the location of your device.

Does the Application use the camera or microphone?

No. The Application does not use the camera or the microphone.

Does the Application use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies?

No. The Application does not use any machine learning or generative AI technologies. The enemies in the game are controlled by ordinary game logic running on your device.

Does the Application use the internet?

Only for Game Center, as described above. The Application does not connect to any servers run by the Service Provider or anyone else.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

No. No information is sent to any third party, including BitArts, Ltd. If you use Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple as part of that service.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can play without signing in to Game Center, and you can sign out of Game Center at any time in your device’s Settings. You can halt all use of the Application by uninstalling it, using the standard uninstall processes available on your device.

What is the data retention policy?

The Application does not collect or retain any user data on external servers. All game data (your progress, best runs and settings) is stored locally on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the Application. Scores and achievements reported to Game Center are kept by Apple under Apple’s policies.

How does the Application address children’s privacy?

The Application is not directed at children under 13, and it does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, children or adults. It does not require any account or registration, does not contain advertising, and does not transmit any data to the Service Provider. There is no mechanism in the Application to collect personal information.

How is your information kept secure?

Since the Application does not collect any information, there is no user data to secure. All game data is stored locally on your device using the device’s built-in storage mechanisms.

How will you be informed of changes to this Privacy Policy?

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are giving your consent to the Service Provider processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
